Shalford Parish Council understands there are lots of concerns and discussion regarding the Wethersfield Airbase Prison Proposal.
We would encourage parishioners to attend the presentation at Wethersfield Village Hall on the 21st of October between 3pm and 8pm.
The Council will then be holding an Extraordinary Meeting on the 3rd of November. Members of the public will be free to express their opinions for the Councillors consideration, followed by a decision by the Council, how they will respond to the consultation.

In light of the presentation date, the Wethersfield Air Base prison proposals will not be discussed at our upcoming meeting on the 20th of October. Our public session at this meeting will be limited to the usual 15 minutes and the Council would appreciate if all comments regarding the proposal are reserved for the meeting on the 3rd of November.
