SHALFORD PARISH COUNCIL

 

Members of the Council are hereby summoned to attend a meeting to be held at Shalford Village Hall on Wednesday, 19th January 2022 commencing at 7:30pm for the purpose of transacting the following business:

 

The meeting will be open to the public unless the Council directs otherwise.

AGENDA

  1. Apologies for Absence.

 

  1. To receive member’s declarations of interest and dispensations in items on the agenda.

Dispensations should be requested from the Clerk up to the day before the meeting.

 

  1. Minutes: Acceptance of the minutes of the Meeting of the Parish Council on the 15th of December 2021

 

  1. Public participation session with respect to items on the agenda and other matters that are of mutual interest or local concern: A maximum of 15 minutes shall be allowed for public question time and it is requested each member of the public speak for a maximum of 3 minutes.

 

  1. Report from the Clerk: An update on any matters arising from the last meeting (Appendix I)

 

  1. District and/or County Councillor: To receive a report

 

  1. Planning: To consider and make comments to Braintree District Council on the following application/s:

 

21/03533/FUL – Shalford Hall Farm The Street Shalford Essex

Erection of a single storey agricultural general purpose storage barn

 

  1. Grants: To agree a grant of £2485 to the Shalford Parochial Church Council.

 

  1. Planters: To agree a forward plan for planters in the parish.

 

  1. Wethersfield Airbase Proposals: To receive an update from the representatives.

 

  1. Parish Magazine: To receive an update and agree a forward plan for supporting the magazine.

 

  1. Platinum Jubilee: To receive an update and agree a forward plan.

 

  1. Consultations: To agree a response to the following consultations:
  2. Section 2 Local Plan Post Examination Modifications Consultation
  3. Transport East

 

  1. Policies: To approve the following:
  2. Action Plan
  3. Grants Policy

 

  1. Finance:
  2. To receive the financial report and approve payments (Appendix II)
  3. To receive the budget monitoring document (Appendix III)
  4. To appoint an external auditor.
