Parish Councillors have requested the following document to be displayed for all to view, a reply from Braintree District Councils Planning following a complaint by Shalford Parish Council on the information provided by the Planning Dept to Braintree District Council members in making decision on a development Jaspers Green at a recent planning meeting.
Shalford Councillors wanted the Planning decision to be re-opened, due to incorrect information being provided

Basics a small piece of scrub land was purchase a few years ago, despite opposition from neighbours stating land was on a bend and very little space for parking vehicles, permission was given for one property, clever builder cleared land and started to build, submitting a revised application for three houses. Numerous changes took place including adding a 2nd story shortly before properties completed and placed for sale on the open market, even before final permission granted in March 2021.
Planning dept just too slow to act, even the following letter falls outside their stated reply time limits for replying, with Shalford had to send a reminder
