During the past week you may have notice, new poles appearing amongst our daffodils on Whites Hill Shalford. Due to County Broadband moving again to install their Broadband system into Shalford, despite giving previous assurances that this area would be via underground ducting.
A number of residents are in direct contact with County Broadband with discussions on removing the poles and hopefully a conclusion will be reached later this week.
Over all the years they have been working around Shalford, the Parish Council have yet to receive any plans of the installations that they hope to achieve.
They are an independent company and not part of the SuperfastEssex government program which is handling the Essex area.
