Clive & Sue Tarling
Friday January 8th witnessed Clive and Sue Tarling of Church End moving to live near Maldon to be closer to other family members.
Thirteen years ago, Clive, a Professional Photographer and Sue a Secretary with Essex County Council, brought their many skills to Shalford – Sue in particular as secretary to FOSTAC, The Horticultural Society and The Local Historical Association and Clive helped with his photographic skills to produce Shalford Footpath map together with Alan Oates, many of his photographs are also on this website
A very sociable and friendly couple, they soon made many friends and will be greatly missed by them all. What will Shalford do without them!
We wish them everything good in their new home and look forward to meeting up with them in the future
Sir Roger and Lady Ann Singleton
Again Roger & Ann from Brickkiln Green Wethersfield are moving very shortly to be nearer their family members, both involved heavily with St Andrew’s Church and where Roger has been the president of FOSTAC since 2006
