St Andrews Church had a successful coffee morning on Thursday 10th June their first since first shutdown due to Convid-19 in March 2020, normally held in the Church Annex fortnightly, but due to government restrictions held in the churchyard with the weather being kind.
Diana Forrow providing the drinks and limited cakes on this occasion not expecting many to attend, surprisingly up to 30 attended over the 2 hours including Molly Wright our centurion.
As a social and charity fund raising event with a named charity, but for the time being any monies raised will be forwarded to St Andrew’s due to their lack of income over the past 18 months.
Many new faces welcomed since the last meeting due to incoming people coming to Shalford, it is intended to continue the meetings once per month at 10.00am on the second Thursday of each month.
